Eid 2019: When is Bakra Eid? What day is Eid ul Adha?

Eid 2019 comprises of two different Eid celebrations, Eid Al Fitr and Eid Al Adha. The first Eid was celebrated two months ago in June and saw Muslims fast for one month before a three-day festival. Eid Al Adha is the second and “greater” Eid celebrated annually, commemorated with feasts and sacrifice. The festival follows the annual pilgrimage of Hajj, a once-in-a-lifetime experience for Muslims worldwide.
When is Bakra Eid?
Bakra Eid falls during the 12th month on the Islamic calendar, Dhu al Hijjah.
This changes on the Gregorian calendar every year as the Islamic calendar follows the lunar cycle.
The solar-based Gregorian calendar pushes the date of Eid Al Adha back by 11 days, and unlike other religious festivals depends on a Moon sighting.
